Deadly Poison

Gossip is not of God, and we should work to limit our conversations and our thoughts about others with others. As stated in today’s message, “O Lord, I can bring all things before You. I don't need to spread gossip like a virus.” Everything we deal with and everyone we interact with, let us seek Him for guidance and wisdom, not others to give in to gossip.

Leviticus 19:16 reads, “Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.”

As the saying goes, if we cannot say anything good about one another, let’s not say anything at all.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 34:12-14 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Quality of life is influenced by the quietness of our thoughts and particularly our tongues. May we speak only those this that are necessary and do not bring harm to ourselves or others.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Romans 12:12

“…rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer…”.

Let us resolve that all that is to come in life will be God’s will for you and me. Therefore we should wait with expectancy and pray with patience as we live to see.
