Let us be vigilant in our everyday lives personally and professionally, striving to live in a spiritual way
Deep Roots
We all can get comfortable in life whether as a result of listening and being guided by people instead of Christ, and/or being consumed with routine and monotony. There also comes times when in comfort we begin to feel uncomfortable and ignore how we feel. Yet we know God moves in us, and that feeling, that uneasiness is a sign it’s time for to do something—change, shift, uproot. How is God literally moving in you to get your attention? Focus on yourself and seek what He is trying to do in you and through you, for our work as stewart’s is never done, and we have a race to continue to run.
Luke 13:7-9 reads, "And he said to the vinedresser, 'Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down... And [the vinedresser] answered him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.' "
Let us be obedient to how God is working in us, literally and figuratively, never ignoring when He shakes and shifts us so we don’t miss out on our assignments and gifts.
Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 6:5-8 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
Regardless of our leaders in our everyday lives, let us lead with love and as Christ expects for us to do in lessons and deeds, words and even silence.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 5:8
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
The enemy is always around to be found, but do not let him bring you down.
Let us be vigilant in our everyday lives personally and professionally, striving to live in a spiritual way, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
