Let us continue to grow in His word and direction for our lives
The News
In September of 2018, I actually minimized my television time, and especially watching news, as I was focused on my mindset and intentionally monitoring what I was allowing in my life. As Kundtz speaks to today, “We carry the news with us. We carry the crime, the violence, the wars, the suffering, and the pain. We carry more now than ever because we are bombarded by it constantly.” If you are able to, like me, cut it to a minimum, but if not, as suggested by the writer, “Get in the habit of allowing a piece of news about suffering to trigger a moment of reflection for those involved. At least this is something we can do rather than just feeling powerless.” May our thoughts and prayers be for peace and healing in this land.
James 5:16 reminds us “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Our prayers have power; even for those we don’t know and may never cross paths with in this life.
Small Straws Scripture Isaiah 58:11
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
If we trust and allow Him, our God will lead us, prosperous us, and restore when we feel we can’t take anymore in this life. His love and blessings are limitless.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Isaiah 43:18-19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Every morning He affords us to rise to a new day with new beginnings, with new opportunities, new mercies, and new blessings. May we never take for granted the chance to start over again or continue with what He is doing in our lives.
Let us continue to grow in His word and direction for our lives, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
