Let us focus on listening, loving, and living our life with Christ
Queenly Listening
“Listening, really listening, is a rare trait. We all need to listen more attentively... We might learn something!” Those words provided in today’s message reminds us that we should be slow to speak and quick to listen. Things do not always need to be said, nor do we want to come off offensive or not respectful of others when they are speaking. As the accompanying prayer says, “Father, sometimes I talk too much! Teach me to be a good listener to others. Stop me as I start to interrupt someone so that I can hold back and just listen.” Let us be hearers and not just doers.
Proverbs 18:13 reads, “He who answers before listening— that is his folly and his shame.”
Let us ensure we listen and hear before we are quick to respond and not just react without understanding of matters.
Small Straws Scripture: 1 John 4:16
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
Let us hold to the love that we have experienced with Christ and through Christ, and let it lead us in all that we do and who we are.
Youversion Verse of the Day: John 14:6
“Said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
There’s only one way to live in life, and that is with and through Christ.
Let us focus on listening, loving, and living our life with Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
