Beans or Steaks?

No matter what we have and have been blessed with, we should be cheerful givers, returning a portion to God. That portion can be through our tithes, offerings, talents, and/or gifts or whatever we may be able to offer up, even our time. As today’s measurements us, “No matter what our circumstances, God is blessing us—if we're following Him with steadfastness. Let's bless Him in return with our thanksgiving.” There is no situation in our lives that is not a blessing from God. Even in times of challenge, He is strengthening us spiritually, which is a blessing in its own way that we cannot always see as we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak).

Deuteronomy 16:17 reads, “Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.”

It doesn’t matter what you have; it’s important how you bring it to the Lord. He loves a cheerful giver who brings what they have freely and i begrudgingly.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.

God is our protector and everything we need so we don’t ever have to fear anything that goes on around us.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

God is a restorer and will bring to fruition all which He has promised.
