Let us forever share about the Living Well that all can drink from and it will never run dry

Delight Deficiency Disorder

This morning Paul Pearsall, therapist and speaker is mentioned as identifying a problem, Delight Deficiency Disorder. “The symptoms of the Delight Deficiency Disorder include the cynical set of chronic feelings of anger, irritability, aggression, and impatience.... When you're not getting delight in your daily diet, your body begins to starve for its spiritual nutrients." Life comes with many responsibilities, but we still must continually strive to find joy in the JOurneY. Whether in solitude, with a partner, or group, find a reason to smile, life, dance, or whatever you need to delight in life.

Matthew 18:3-4 reads, “Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” As children trust and depend on their parents without any worry or doubt. and as they freely enjoy life, let us have that same dependency and rely on Christ, enjoying every aspect of life in each moment.

FMBC Weekly Reading: St. John 10:7-10

The good life is often the result of someone else’s sacrifices

“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

‭‭Let us always be mindful of Christ and those who He sends to sacrifice for us to live abundantly and open doors that no one else can shut. Let us never take for granted the blessings bestowed upon us as a result of the sacrifice of others.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 9:37-38

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Let us always work to tell of the goodness of God, but just as importantly, let us work to bring others to Him to share in His goodness and help us share of His goodness.

Let us forever share about the Living Well that all can drink from and it will never run dry, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
