Let us laugh, live, and be lead by the Lord
Laughing
Laughter is so good for the soul. Danish-American actor and comedian, Victor Borge is quoted in this morning’s message as saying, “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.” Laughter allows strangers and to connect when there is so much unknown about the other; it can be the conversation starter. Kundtz writes this morning, “When you tickle the funny bone, you massage the soul…. There's no one so off-putting as she who takes herself too seriously. There's no one so attractive as he who easily laughs, especially at himself, as well as at your jokes.” May we continually find joy in our journey and look for opportunities to laugh and let loose.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 is a great reminder for the opportunities we should seek out in life, including laughing. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”
Small Straw Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.
May we choose life with our Lord and Savior above the ways of (wo)man, for He is the way, the truth and the light.
Youversion Verse of the Day Matthew 21:43
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Let us be obedient and faithful to God to reap the fruit of reward from Him.
Let us laugh, live, and be lead by the Lord, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
