We can always bet on and win in Christ

Taking a Chance

This morning Kundtz writes, “So often good things happen as a result of taking a chance on a losing bet…. The human heart wants to trust and sometimes it works out. Once in a while, take a chance-the occasional surprise is worth the failures.” Have you stopped and reflected on the chances you make each day. Life in general is a gamble. There are so many things we have to make a choice about, and with each choice comes a consequence—good, bad, or indifferent—depending on the perspective and situation. The one chance we should always take is to trust in the way of Christ. You can always bet on Him, for He’s never lost a battle, and never will.

Romans 8:1 reads, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” When we choose Christ we take a chance on the best life and the life He directs us to live, learn, and grow, with grace and mercy.

Small Straw Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

‭‭The purest thing in this world is love, and God is love. Let us seek every opportunity to reflect on love and live out love in all that we do with all whom we engage.

Youversion Verse of the Day: John 6:51

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Our Father has committed Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for you and I to live with, live for, and abide by.

We can always bet on and win in Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
