More Than a Beauty Queen
This morning’s message focused on the story of Mordecai’s orphaned cousin becoming Queen Esther. The writer says, “Few of us live the exotic, thrilling life of a queen, but all women possess power within their spheres of influence home, work, school, community. God has brought us to this place in history for a purpose. Will we take the risks?” We may not live in the royal palaces or in the lap of luxury, yet we possess the power and ability to have an amazing influence over what we do, when we lead, and who we engage. Let us never fail to get up each day, straighten up our crown as royalty, for we are heirs to the Most High, and let us walk and be of dignity for our impact will change lives and draw others closer to Thee.
Esther 4:4 reads, "If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this."
There is no better time than now for us to embrace who we truly are, and stop being so humble. We have been fearfully and wonderfully made; let us know it through our thoughts and actions, and let us show it throw our walk and words.
Small Straws Scripture: 1 John 3:20-21 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
Let us strive to live with integrity, forthright and living out loud, walking in our truth, and led by our Father in what we do.
