Let us lavish ourselves in His wisdom and love to carry us through each day
Receiving God’s Embrace
Today’s devotional begins with dialogue about huggers suggesting “Some people are born ‘huggers’…. Most of us would agree that the closer the relationship, the more meaningful the hug. Can you imagine receiving an embrace from our heavenly Father, the God of the universe? I think that a hug from our Father is unimaginable and indescribable. Yet even before our opportunity to feel His physical embrace, we can choose now to feel Him in every place of our lives. We must take the time to welcome Him, and feel His safety, security, mercy, grace, peace and blessings that remain constant and available to me and you.
1 John 3:1 says, “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
God’s love is rich and fulfilling, never scarce and readily available for all who choose to receive it.
Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
Above all else that we do, may we always seek wisdom to help us navigate our plans and prepare for what’s to come and what we may go through.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
May we recognize and realize all that we need to succeed is found in Christ indeed. Let us welcome Him in each day to show us His plans and His ways.
Let us lavish ourselves in His wisdom and love to carry us through each day, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
