Let us not forget the importance of ourselves, but especially our importance to Christ

Stopping Before Everything

Kundtz states this morning that “Stopping is a gentle art and is like an encouraging word that urges us to make the right decisions and choices: the ones we really want and the ones that are life-giving…. Stopping is a gentle art and is like an encouraging word that urges us to make the right decisions and choices: the ones we really want and the ones that are life-giving.” Think about that; have you taking time to stop, pause, really process major decisions, or have you in haste reacted? Kundtz also shares that, “slowness fosters remembering, and speed engenders forgetting.” Now that really resonates, because when we try to remember things, we tend to pause or sit down to help us recall. Moreover, when we don’t want to deal with things or remember, we hurry to occupy ourselves with something else, busying ourselves or rushing. We may need to forget situations and encounters, but let us never forget the importance of ourselves and being. Let us ensure we take time to Stop for ourselves to ensure we are living and not just moving through life.

Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭7 reads, “The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah”

‭‭‬ We can always rest in the Father, pausing, stopping to reset and respect the time we need to regain who we are.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 30:4-5

Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. for His anger is but for a moment; His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Know that in Christ, pain and suffering are is temporary, yet His favor over us is forever.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:3

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

May we always be humble, knowing the importance of our dependency on God, and we will be richly blessed.

Let us not forget the importance of ourselves, but especially our importance to Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
