Let us not worry about anything, but quiet our souls and trust in Him to be in control
Offensive Ways
We in no way want to offend God, so why do we worry or become anxious? As written today, “Worry, anxiety, and fear are also spiritual roadblocks. Did you know that anxious thoughts are offensive to God? Anxiety is a red flag signaling that we are not trusting God. Fear and faith cannot coexist. We are either worrying or trusting, anxious or peaceful.” Let us choose this day and each day to place all of our situations in God’s hands, and trust Him with peace of mind that He will work things out every time. He’s done it before and isn’t going to just stop now.
Psalm 139:23-24 says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Lord, please remove anything from us that is not of You, especially anything that prevents us from wholly trusting and believing in You and what You can do.
Small Straws Scripture: 1 Kings 19:11-12 Then He said: Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord. And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains a broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.
Many times we expect God to respond and speak to us in unquestionable and obvious ways, yet in many cases, it’s in the stillness and moments of quiet contemplation that He speaks the loudest.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Ephesians 2:18
“For through him both of us have access in one Spirit to the Father.”
There is nothing and no one that can keep us from our Father, for He is always near and available to me and you.
Let us not worry about anything, but quiet our souls and trust in Him to be in control, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
