First Labor

We all know the importance of giving of our first fruits, honoring the Lord with them. However, we must also remember that our first labors belong to Him, too. The writer today says, “So let's be good stewards of the time we have here on earth. Give the first and best of your effort, energy, and strength to God and your family. And the Lord will bless all your labors.” God first and family over everything as we work and do each day.

Proverbs 31:17 reads, “She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.”

In all that we do, we are committed to do as if we are working for the Lord, and all that we do shall be for the benefit of our own, our families.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

There is a purpose for everything that we go through and experience that works for His plan in our lives.

Commit thy works unto the Lord, And thy thoughts shall be established.

Everything we do should be entrusted to our Father to produce what He commands and expects of us and from us.
