Let us rest and lead depending on Christ
Who helps the Helper?
Women are naturally born as helpers, for we were created to do so. However, as posed in the title, who is there for us when we have done all we can and have no more to give to others? We are reminded in today’s message, “The Lord does. When we are weak, He is strong. When we are vulnerable, He is our shield. When we can no longer trust in our own resources, we can trust in Him.” Let us look to our Father for in Him we can find safety and rest.
Psalm 28:7 reads, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
Let us know that in Christ we can find rest, and in finding that rest there is also joy and gladness to praise Him even more.
Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Our Father is willing and able to keep us, protect us, and lift us, if we only seek Him for comfort and safety.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Let us always strive to keep the Word in our mouth, in our thoughts, and our deeds, day in and out, obeying and trusting in the teachings to be the best we can be to ourselves and others.
Let us rest and lead depending on Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
