Living with Quandary

Kundtz writes today that “By their nature, quandaries often don't get resolved, but the attempt can be most beneficial.” He shares a situation and continues saying, “It has pushed me into new territory, given me a bit more comfort with the unresolved.” Every situation, and in particular challenges ones with other people may not always be resolved to your satisfaction, for it takes two to agree, and many times that is impossible. What we have to decide as individuals is how will we live with this situation for ourselves. I have been dealing with a quandary for a little over seven years. However, I have to to the resolve that I will not receive an apology and that another individual will always be allowed in the situation that is not part of the matter. With that, I have prayed and found piece without closure. As the lyrics to the hymn express, “When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul.”

John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.” When we cannot find peace with others, peace is always found in Christ. Take each quandary and leave it with Him.

Small Straw Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:10b-12

But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with you own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.‭‭

In all that we do, may we earn respect with our deeds and work unto Christ with the gifts and talents He as blessed us with through our actions.

Youversion Verse of the Day Ephesians 4:29

Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.

Let us always speak love and life over ourselves and others, working to lift up and build and not tear down for defeat, for words have power.

Let us work and not worry about what we cannot control. Whatever we cannot do, we can trust God to, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
