Focus on the perspectives in life that lead to prosperity
From Velcro to Teflon
We are encouraged today by Kundtz to take a few moments each day to be quiet and reflect to transform our cares from sticky Velcro into non-stick Teflon. He quotes Maya Angelou's words, "each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us." Kundtz continues saying, “Coat your cares with Teflon. Put some aimless wandering or sitting on a park bench in your life today.” As you wander or sit, look back over your life, whether just back over the day, the week, or lifetime. No matter what has occurred, and as the lyrics of a gospel song says, “all of my good days outweigh my bad days; I won’t complain.” We have so much to be joyous about and so much goodness to consider yet to come.
1 Peter 5:7 reads, “Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” Job 8:7 says, “Though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.” These are reminders that we don’t have to worry, and if we do, we can give whatever we are dealing with to God, knowing that He cares and he will take care of every situation and provide for us.
Small Straw Scripture: Romans 12:21
Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
As the saying goes, let us work to kill people with kindness. When we do, He will be our vindicator.
Youversion Verse of the Day: James 1:12
Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Blessings will come with overcoming situations meant to harm us or destroy us.
Focus on the perspectives in life that lead to prosperity, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
