Let’s focus on faith in victories and valleys low

"I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me." John 5:30

Today’s message is titled “Greater Will”. In John 5:30, Jesus himself says, "I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me." Now if Jesus couldn’t do things on His own, you know you and I can’t either. The writer encourages us today, “We have the Holy Spirit within us, and we, too, can be confident that God is able to achieve his purpose in and through us. As you head into the day, or the week, ahead, make it your intention to hear what God might be saying to you.” May we be intentional about our interactions with Christ, leaning and depending on what He would have us to do that is part of His will for each moment of our lives. He is our guide for every moment along our JOurneY in life.

Reflection from The Art of Overcoming

Today’s message from “The Art of Overcoming” speaks to “Faith in the Dark”. Reminding each of us about a child or ourselves having a concern about a monster being under their bed at some point, like those situations, the author says, “We can end up living in ongoing fear of the enemies that might attack us and the evil that could befall us.” But he goes further to remind us, “When you learn to live with faith in God, death and loss lose their power…. Let faith define your life, and it will walk you through your death experiences unscathed. Don’t just give it credit for the victories — let it carry you through failure, disappointment, and hurt too.” Faith is focusing and following our Father no matter the circumstance, and knowing He will guide and protect us through, for theirs a purpose that will lead to greater for me and you.

As a reminder from yesterday, sometimes a message has to be reiterated to resonate. We will always be blessed for showing grace and mercy as a blessing to someone else.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
