Life is limitless with the Lord

Again and again they put God to the test; they vexed the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember his power—the day he redeemed them from the oppressor. Psalm 78:41-42

Today’s devotional is titled “Limitless” and speaks about purpose. The author asks, “Do you struggle with where you fit? Are you on a hunt to find your purpose? Do you feel like you've changed, and the purpose you thought God had for you seems vastly different now?” It then goes on to say, “Friends, God has no capacity. We serve a God without limits…. You don't need to have confidence in what you can do-only in what he can accomplish through you.“ Yesterday I recorded a session for a podcast and spoke to the hosts about how I know God has a greater purpose for me beyond my current profession, and as Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Not only can I do what I set out to do, but I will accomplish even more than He has and is preparing me to do. I’m waiting well for my next according to His will. Are you?

Reflection from Reset: The 7-Day Plan to Building Habits

“Life and Death” is the title of today’s message from “Reset: The 7-Day Plan to Building Positive Habits”. It begins, as written in Philippians 4:8, “God made our brains, and He knows best the value and importance of thinking about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable…. Your thoughts have the power to seriously enhance or completely destroy your life. If you see the same stream of thinking coming back again, and again, and again, it’s time to own up to it and let the mental battle begin.“ It is explained that this repetition is known as frequency bias. This means our awareness of certain things become heightened. Yet as the message says, “God permits us to change the pattern. We have the power and control to choose which thoughts we will tune into and ruminate on throughout the day.“ This day and each day forward, let us think on good things. When our minds want to go into to default mode (as we discussed yesterday) or shift into frequency bias, let us capture every thought and be intentional about a positive perspective, thinking on what is good and perfect in His will for our lives.

Ephesians 3:20

Know that He’s done so much in our lives, but we haven’t seen nothing yet.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Life is limitless with the Lord, my friend.
