Live even in the waiting

“May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans.” Psalm 20:4

Yesterday we spent time with one another giving thanks. May today be continued with a cheerful spirit and “Wishing Well” for each other. Psalm 20:4 is going to be a new scripture that I will reflect on more often. It says, “May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans.” As the writer says, “Think of this verse as a prayer for you. May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans.” He’s able, just believe.

Reflection from What Are You Waiting For by Lina AbuJamra

Today we begin a new (video) series “What Are You Waiting For” by Lina AbuJamra. In the first message, AbuJamra poses the question “What’s Up With The Waiting?” She defines waiting saying, “I like to think of waiting as the space between where I am and where I long to be. It’s the space between what I have and what or who I wish would show up.“ She then reminds us that the waiting allows us to embrace and just our faith in God. She emphasizes Hebrews 11:1 and 6, which state, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Let us learn to wait on our Father and what He will do for us, yet let us not wait to live anyway. We are truly blessed, even if we are in the waiting. Remain encouraged as in the previous message, and “May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans.” (Psalm 20:4)

May Christ and His word permeate through with all that we say, think, and do.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Live even in the waiting, my friend.
