Wait in faith

“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

In today’s message “Faith is Evidence” from “Daily Strength for Women”, Hebrews 11:1 is lifted reminding us, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” The writer supplements this by saying, “Those with faith are not expected to cower in fear but to have confidence in the power of God.” What God has done before, He is more than capable of doing again. Moreover, He is still in the miracle working business and can exceed all that we ask or can imagine. Don’t allow your human thoughts to get in the way of His magnificent work. Believe, have faith, and watch His wondrous work.

Reflection from What Are You Waiting For

Day 2 of “What Are You Waiting For” speaks to “Why Waiting Is The Way”. One reason provided is “God allows us to wait is to reveal who we really are…. The second reason God allows us to spend time in the waiting is to slow or get rid of the self-sufficient you…. the third reason God allows us to wait: waiting grows the best you.“ As you wait, think on these things and meditate on what God is revealing and healing at the same time. The wait will be well worth it.
