Live in the moment, focused on your God given purpose, fighting for fulfillment with faith until the end

Living This Day

It is Friday and a day that most enJOY because we are either beginning our weekend early or wrapping up the week with a less hectic schedule for the day. The same mindset most have going into Friday, we need to take each day: TGIT, meaning thank God it’s today! We need to learn to appreciate and live in each day God gives us breath. life, and opportunity. Many times we begin to focus on all we have to do in days to come or a week’s time, forgetting what is right in front of us that we have been blessed with and taking for granted. As the writer says, “God knows each day has its issues. But He told us not to worry, because when the next day comes He'll be right there again, ready to equip us for whatever we need to do.” So as I’ve come to realize and embrace more and more, let us live in the moment with no regrets. Remember, today is the present—a gift from God.

Matthew 6:34 reads, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."

Keep your focus on this day, the present, gifted to you.

Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 5:15-17 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Let us live and be of purpose in this life we have been given, never taking opportunities for granted, and seeking God to lead us in the work He would have us to do.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

While we still have the opportunity to, let us live a life focused on persevering and commitment to Christ and our faith to do His will for our lives.

Live in the moment, focused on your God give purpose, fighting for fulfillment with faith until the end, my friend.
