Live, love, and let go

“Whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.” James 2:10

I needed this message this morning, “Nobody’s Perfect”. James 2:10 says, “Whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.” The thing about walking with Christ is He has provided commandments, the rules to guide us in this life. Yet He knows that we are not perfect and provides us with grace as well. We will fall short for we are of flesh, and that’s why Jesus gave His life. As the message says, “We aren't perfect. While we may never kill or steal or eat the wrong thing on the wrong day, we are entirely likely to covet, to take the easy way out, to gossip. Because of grace we get to choose: follow all the rules, or accept his forgiveness in advance.” Let us choose forgiveness from the Father as we walk in faith and love.

Reflection from The Art of Overcoming

This morning’s message from “The Art of Overcoming” is titled “God Wants the Mic Back”. The writer says, “…when it comes to our death experiences, we mourn them, remember them, lament them — but we don’t pay attention to the timing. We get stuck in grieving mode and refuse to move on. Sooner or later, God wants the mic back.“ We are reminded that no one can tell us how to grieve or how long; that’s between us and the Father, but we have to choose to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regret, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) to get to our breakthrough—not wallow in it. Assess where you are along your JOurneY and allow God to continue to lead you through.

James 2:10

We are not perfect, but God’s grace is sufficient when we fall short.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Live, love, and let go, my friend.
