Love can begin again and again when He is welcomed in

“Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” Psalm 15:1

This morning’s devotional educates us saying, “In ancient Israel the sanctuary wasrit an easy place to enter. It was a place where the living God dwelled and there were requirements of sacrifice and purification before anyone could enter and be cleansed from sin.” I can only imagine what it was like, and know just from that statement, I would have probably never felt worthy of entering, but thanks be to God, we don’t have to worry about trying to prepare to enter a specific place, for He dwells in each of us. As the devotional continues, “There's nothing you need to do but let Jesus in. Enjoy the freedom of being in the presence of God today.” It is an honor and a privilege to be His, but more importantly for Him to dwell in us and be with us each step of our way.

Reflection from Her True Worth

This morning’s message from “Her True Worth” says, “Take comfort in this: there is nothing God’s careful hand cannot repair, if only we’d open the door and let him in.” It goes on to explain, “God isn’t intimidated by our mess, and he certainly isn’t surprised by it….He isn’t willing to leave our pain and destruction undealt with. He insists on rebuilding the ruins of our lives where others have carelessly torn us down. But we have to be willing participants in our healing process.” We can never hide from God, so why try to hide our hurt? We cannot heal until we reveal. Open up to Him and pour out your heart, and He will love the hurt away, for there is more love for you if you trust His will and His way.
