We are shielded and safe in the Shepherd
"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11
John 10:11 says, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” We are REminded this morning that Jesus is the shepherd and we are His sheep. Today’s devotional says, “He gave us his Word to guide us and lead our steps. When the cares of our lives scatter through our nights like restless leaping sheep, God wants us to remember who blocks the doorway. No one guards and protects like he does. We can rest easy in his sheepfold.” Let us always take comfort in knowing that we will forever BE led, guided, and protected by the Father.
REflection from Seen: Dealing with Despair and Anxiety Through Connection
Sometimes we must “Just Listen”, as today’s devotional focus. The text says, “Listening to someone who is hurting is an act of love. Listening communicates, ‘I see you because I hear you.’… Good listening is not just hearing someone, it’s helping someone who is hurting to emotionally exhale.” May we take time to not only see others, but let’s take time to listen so others know they are heard. We cannot heal until we REveal. The text goes on to say, “To emotionally exhale means to acknowledge feelings and move them from the right side of our brains to the left side, where they can be processed.” May we each provide the opportunity for others to exhale and process their feelings and not feel trapped for on one listening or hearing.

We don’t ever have to have a troubled heart, for Christ is with us and will never depart.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
