May love lead, keep, and guide us, for He is love

Say It Now

This morning speaks about how times when individuals lose a loved one, they wish they would have expressed the importance that individual played in their lives, but didn’t because it’s sometimes difficult to express. Today is my father’s birthday, and he passed a little over six years ago, yet it seems like yesterday. I’m grateful not to live in regret from not being open and honest with him. God allowed the last seven or so months for me to open up about some things I had been harboring and allowed us to connect in a different way. As I did with my father, Kundtz encourages us while we still have the opportunity, “To those that still live, tell them what you're feeling. Don't wait until a death brings you deeper regret. I think you'll love the feeling you have when you do it; I think they will love it too.” As I have learned since my father’s death, live in the moment with no regrets. Expressing your love towards others fills your soul and that of others.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 reminds us, “Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends….”

Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

May we allow our Father guide us further than we can ever imagine by trusting in Him and not the ways of ourselves and others.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Chronicles 16:11

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually.

Let us focus on Christ, not just in trials and tribulations but in the days when all is well and blessings are overflowing.

May love lead, keep, and guide us, for He is love, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
