Peace can always be found in the presence of God
Alice
Today’s message by Kundtz highlights a friend of his, Alice, whom people are drawn to because of her aura, her peacefulness, and that has come from her being in solitude with herself. Kundtz writes, “So spending time in stillness and solitude is a benefit to you … You become available in a new and welcoming way to those you encounter. And it won't be because you try so hard, but simply because, if you've been there, people will recognize it and respond.” I, too, understand this phenomenon. After a spell in solitude a few years ago, I experienced and felt a shift in my life. People have since commented about it. When one does the work of soul searching and working towards exuding peace, it is evident. As encouraged by Kundtz today, know your embracing of your quiet times can become the gift that others need.
Mark 6:31 reads, “He said to them, ‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’” Isolation is the way for us to ensure that we allow ourselves to be present with our Father, working towards exuding peace hear and experience His peace that only He can provide to us when we rest and reset in Him.
Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
As highlighted many times before, I am reminded of the message that I read each day on my wall: “worry ends where faith begins”. There is nothing that we have to be concerned about in this life. When we find ourselves in such situations, our practice should be to pray and know that our Father has and always will have His way and make a way.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Mark 8:35
For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.
Letting go of our ways and leaning on His ways brings about betters days and ways of life for you and me.
Peace can always be found in the presence of God, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
