May our presence and passion for Christ be displayed throughout our interactions and remain with others long after they experience Christ through us
What’s Your Fragrance?
Is there evidence that you have been around? When you have engaged with someone else or others, does part of you dwell in the space? Let us strive to make this happen; let this be a goal. Today’s message reminds us, “As followers of Christ we have been given a very unique fragrance. And whether we intend it to or not, our very presence in the lives of others always leaves a lingering scent…. As you go about your business today, what kind of fragrance will you take with you? Pause for a moment to ask God to help you be a sweet representative of Christ, leaving His delightful aroma lingering in the air behind you.” In all that we say and due, let God’s presence through us be a sweet perfume that lingers wherever we go and with whomever we engage.
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 reads, “But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ's triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God.
May our presence be a sweet fragrance drawing others to the sweetest opportunity in life to live in abundance of grace, mercy, and eternal life with our Father, and not push others to a life of death and destruction.
Small Straws Scripture: James 3:2
For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
None of us are perfect and will fall short of perfection, but let us truly focus on the words we speak and use them to uplift others and not a strategy of defeat.
Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:16
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
May we show God’s love in a fashion where we sacrifice what we can for the betterment of our brothers and sisters as we encounter one another along life’s journey.
May our presence and passion for Christ be displayed throughout our interactions and remain with others long after they experience Christ through us, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
