Different

Being different is good and takes experience and strength. A lot of people like to be like others and “keep up with the Joneses”. Today’s message is about Ruth and how though her background allowed people to create one perspective of her, her actions exemplified something much greater—love and faithfulness that was unwavering. As we go about life, let us consider Ruth with our actions and interactions with others. As the prayer today reads, “Lord God, it's not easy to adjust to others' needs. Let the loving fragrance of my life draw them to You.” Let us work to humble ourselves to pray for others and forgive others that even if they don’t acknowledge it, God sees our attempts to love as He would have us to do.

Ruth 3:11 says, “Fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.”

May our reputation and heart speak for us in ways words cannot convey.

Small Straws Scripture: Colossians 3:23-24

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Let us ensure what we do is what the Lord requires of me and you, and not focused on what others desire or expect for us to do.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 7:8

For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Whatever we are persistent in believing, our Father will do and provide.

Our reputation precedes us, therefore let us continue to do what the Lord asks, and continue to believe that what we do for Him will last, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
