Seek the Source each day for rest and support

Floating in Grace

Today’s message is perfectly aligned with today, the Sabbath. The first few lines read, “Sometimes we want the answers while we are still thrashing in the waves of our own doubt, but the truth is, we seldom find wisdom until we are still…. Silence and stiliness are the doorways that welcome our weary hearts in prayer. Prayer can be full of lamenting and asking, but when we realize that deep prayer is more a quieting of the soul, the power of who God is floods into our hearts.” Many times we work to figure things out causing our minds to be cluttered with thoughts of what ifs and possibilities. We also work to busy ourselves instead of embracing stillness, mentally and physically. Let us not take the Sabbath for granted—Selah. May today be a day to pause and hear from Him and feel His presence.

Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God.”

We don’t have to plan to do anything for God will do all things when we are still and obedient to His Word and His ways.

Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

All that we need to do accomplish in this life is found in our Father; He is the ultimate source and force in power.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Psalm 4:8

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Peace even in our storms of darkness, grief, worry, and pain is always available to us in Jesus’ name.

Seek the Source each day for rest and support, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
