May we be mindful of what God desires of us to do for others, but never forget what He expects of us for ourselves
Waiting to Trust
Kundtz asks us this morning, “Is there an aspect of your life where you give too much power to someone else, where you are afraid to trust yourself?” He opens his message to us this morning with saying, “It is often easier to trust in the power, wisdom, and words of someone else than to trust ourselves.” We have to remember that we know what’s best for ourselves, and in many other instances because of interactions and experience, we know what’s best when engaging with others we are familiar with. Use your power and knowledge to see things through, not putting something off—see it through. Further, if you know what will work best or be best with someone, walk in faith and help make it happen. That will bring joy to them and peace to you.
Luke 6:31 reads, “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.” We want others to treat us well and do good; therefore, let us be of the same mindset.
Small Straw Scripture: Proverbs 13:4
The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.
Let us always strive to be hardworking and diligent to reap the harvest of the work we have put in.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Genesis 2:3
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Resting is a blessing from God. Let us not avoid it but be intentional about it.
May we be mindful of what God desires of us to do for others, but never forget what He expects of us for ourselves, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
