May we forever take time to take time to be
Stillpoints, Stopovers, and Grinding Halts
Kundtz shares this morning, “Stopping has three levels. They are based on length of time: Stillpoints, Stopovers, and Grinding Halts. All are effective, but each one is meant for different moments of life.” Stillpoints deal with a few moments in time, stopovers, shorter periods of time, and grinding halts as extended periods. All provide the pauses in life that we need to pray, meditate, process, and respond to what life has brought into our lives and how we continue in purpose and pursuit.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 speaks about time. “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.” Make we always take the appropriate time needed in life to consider all the things we’ve done, are doing, and will do in life.
Small Straw Scripture: Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
May we always know that contentment comes with our time with Christ who helps us to know what’s wrong, right, and what is expected of us and through us in this life.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.“
In all that we do and who we are, let us forever work to do what is morally right, growing stronger and closer in our relationship with Christ.
May we forever take time to take time to be, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
