Stillpoints: The Heart and Soul of Stopping
Today Kundtz emphasizes the importance of of stillpoints. He writes, “What you ‘do’ during a Stillpoint is simple: You stop doing whatever you're doing, sit or stand, take a deep breath with your eyes open or closed, focus your attention inward, and remember what you need to remember. Stop, breathe, and remember. The remembering part is very flexible, it can mean recalling a belief or an event that motivates you. But it can also mean remembering a prayer for strength or peace, a message you need to hear at the moment like ‘You really enjoy this!’ or a self-encouragement like ‘You can do it.’ Stop, breathe, and remember.” Stillpoints provide us with the brief yet necessary respite we need to continue on and carry on with our daily lives. We have incorporated this into our walk in life, not necessarily knowing the term. It is important to take time to encourage ourselves to continue on whether through reassured success or with self-motivation, encouraging ourselves to persevere through.
Psalms 68:19 reads, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah”
Our Father always supports us, keeps us, and sees us through each situation He leads us to.
Small Straw Scripture: Isaiah 60:2
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
When troubling or challenging times arise, we can also rest assured that our Father is and shall be the Light to give us hope, knowing everything is seasonal and will not last forever.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:9
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Let work towards peace and not create pieces in divisive ways in life’s situation, knowing peace is pleasing in God’s eyes.
There is no situation or valley low that God will not bring us out of, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
