May we still ourselves, focused on prayer and breathing, knowing our being is in Him
Breathing is Inspiring
Kundtz says to us this morning, “How can I convince you of the power of a deep, intentional breath? Breathing is one of the involuntary activities of the human body, and it seems silly to practice or improve it.” As a singer, I know many of us do not really understand the appropriate way of really breathing, because most take breaths from the chest. In all actuality, as described by Kundtz, breathing takes place in the diaphragm. He shares the following benefits of appropriate breathing saying, “It deepens your awareness of this particular moment and brings you directly into contact with the present. It internally massages the major internal organs, relaxing them, and creates a heightened awareness of yourself and, by its very nature, causes you to expand both spiritually and physically. Spirit and breath are from the same root, and inspiration means to breathe in. Breathing is inspiring.” Let us work to be more conscientious and intentional about our breathing, which also plays a role in our wellbeing.
Psalms 150:6 says, “Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” As long as we live, let us be in a posture of praise.
Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 4:12-13
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
May we find all we need in this life and how to accomplish our purpose in this life through our relationship and reliance upon Christ.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:10
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Let us not give up, but hold out, for blessings from ill-treatment and persecution are inevitable Stay in faith.
May we still ourselves, focused on prayer and breathing, knowing our being is in Him, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
