May we never be too proud to cry to the Lord for help when our way is not clear
You number my wanderings. Psalm 56:8 NKJV
Life’s journey is “Not Straight Lines”, but there are twists, turns, detours, and even road blocks. Similarly, this morning’s message speaks of a country road and landmarks, “And these unexpected vignettes are what God uses in our spiritual journey too. When you feel like you can't find the ‘yellow brick road’ to Oz, God may be letting you wander a bit so He can teach you wonderful, unexpected things along the way.” Sometimes we must stay in our feelings and wander a bit, but know and appreciate what God will show us through it all.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Jeremiah 49, Jeremiah 50, & Jeremiah 51)
“Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.” Jeremiah 50:31-32 KJV
Matthew 6:34
Stay present in this day and it’s matters, and not focused on what’s yet to come and the unknown. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
May we never be too proud to cry to the Lord for help when our way is not clear, my friend.
