May we stay focused on pleasing our Father God, because He’s always focused on us, no matter the circumstances

People Pleaser vs God Pleaser

Just last night I was having a conversation with my closest friend about a similar conversation that today’s devotional speaks about. I brought up the conversations that I have with God and how I want to do what He wants of me, and how it’s important for my friend to do the same. As today’s message reads, “Rather than being driven by the opinions of others, strive to live your life for God alone and to please Him above all else. God knows our hearts. He perceives things as they truly are. We cannot fool Him…It is impossible to please both God and man. We must make a choice. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. Align your heart with His. Let go of impression management that focuses on outward appearance. Receive God's unconditional love and enjoy the freedom to be yourself before Him!” We cannot live for others; everyone is responsible for their own happiness. (That’s one thing that I can say my ex husband helped me realize). Life is to be lived and lived with the fruit of the Spirit. Is yours ripe or ruined?

1 Thessalonians 2:4 reads, “We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.”

Everything we do is focused on pleasing God. Somethings may not align with our loved ones, because it is impossible to please God and (wo)man, but I trust in God.

Small Straws Scripture: Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Change your mind and you change your life in Christ.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 2 Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Even in our struggles God is with us and keeps us.

May we stay focused on pleasing our Father God, because He’s always focused on us, no matter the circumstances, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
