Humility Brings Glory

Those who are boastful and full of arrogance may gain attention, but all for the wrong reasons. As written in today’s devotional, “Our humility allows others to see the Lord clearly through us because the focus is no longer on us but on Him. When we decrease, the Lord will increase. Do not view humility with distain. His glory can only be revealed when we are humble.” Let Him be seen in all you do and watch blessings overflow for you.

Luke 14:11 reads, "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Humility will lead us to blessings, peace, and happiness, where pride will lead to one’s fall.

Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

There is nothing that we can do with the past but learn from it, so don’t dwell on it. Let us focus on the future and all the opportunities that are to come and can be.
