Timing is Everything

Timing is truly important with everything we do. When we want to ask something or do something, and even become something, we have to be aware of the timing. Even before timing, let us be prayerful about everything. Today’s message speaks about how God taught Esther to wait patiently for the right time to speak. It said, “In ancient times, the queen risked her life by appearing in front of the king's throne unless she was summoned. Esther had something she needed to say to King Xerxes, but she paused and prayed and proceeded cautiously and carefully.” Let us ensure that the timing is right for what we have to say to be received.

Esther 4:16 reads, "Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king."

There are times when we must take risks that go against others’ will to do what we feel is right as we walk with Christ.

Small Straws Scripture: 1 Peter 3:12

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

Let us always strive to do what’s right, for our Father is open and receptive to those who do not do evil.

In all things, and particularly in difficult times, be of good courage knowing God is your strength.
