Sacred Ground

As we walk along our journey with Christ we shall grow closer and closer to Him. As written in today’s message, “Over time, His words take root and weave into our own, until we find ourselves unsure where His thoughts end and ours begin.” Let us be intentional about studying the Word, but also walking in it and working to become one with Him as He leads, guides, directs, and moves us.

John 16:24 says, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

We only have to ask of our Father and know that He will give us what we truly need.

Small Straws Scripture: Matthew 7:7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Let us not be afraid to continually and persistently ask, look forward, and open doors of opportunity afforded by God.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

When we are equipped with God’s armour , He provides us with all the provision we need to withstand anything that comes against us, and give us the knowledge and strength to stand up to and defend ourselves and defend what is right and good.
