Serving the Lord

One of my favorite verses is highlighted with today’s message. It is the verse that always comes to mind when I think about working. The message today reminds us that with everything we have to do, keep our minds focused on Christ and being a witness for Him through our actions and deeds—even the simplest of ones. May our prayer be today’s prayer. “Dear Lord, I want to worship You in everything I do. Change my attitude about the little things so that I may be a good witness to You always. Amen.” Work unto Him in all that you do.

Colossians 3:23-24 reads, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

The work that we do is for the Lord, for we are His people, serving and working towards building the kingdom here on earth.

Small Straws Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.

Partnership and collaboration are important in our lives, for we love and love one another when the need arises.

Youversion Verse of the Day: John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is the only way for us to be saved; let us accept and choose Him as our Lord and Savior.
