We are on a journey, and as we rise and run, let us know where our strength comes from

First Things First

Let us all realize the importance of giving the first moments of our days to meditation with Christ. Today’s message says, “However, in spite of the many demands placed upon Him, scripture tells us that Jesus got up early in the morning, while it was still dark, and took time to meet His Father in prayer (Mark 1:35).” Don’t you think if Jesus needed the Father, we need Him too?

Psalm 5:3 says, “In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.”

Give everything to the Father and see what He will do, waiting with expectancy.

Small Straws Scripture: Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This journey that we are on as Christians is like a marathon, long, and sometimes arduous, painful even, strenuous, yet we shall endure for God our Father is with us.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 9:37-38

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Every opportunity we have, let us be doers, believers, and sharers of the Word of Christ Jesus in all that we do.

We are on a journey, and as we rise and run, let us know where our strength comes from, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
