Good Things

The prayer of today’s message resonates so much with me today. It says, “How often I complain about the little irritations and miss seeing all the good things You give me, Father. Have mercy on my fickle heart. Amen.” Why do we let little things get under our skin, run our morning or even a whole day? I smile now, but reflecting, there has been so much wasted time, moments and opportunities because I focused on the little things instead of all of the other things that God allowed in my life. Let us always focus on Romans 8:28 in our lives, especially when the little things want to get the best of us.He works everything for our good, so find the lesson and/or blessing even in that little irritant.

Numbers 21:5 reads, “And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.”

Let us never lack gratitude and faith in our Father, for He never fails.

Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 4:25-26 Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established.

Let us be forward, focused, following in faith, assured in our foundation in the Father.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Our Father is especially close to those of us who suffer from broken hearts from grief, heartache, and despair. Turn to Him for healing within.
