Covering Up

Kundtz writes this morning, “…you can't get away from yourself, but you can cover yourself, you can avoid whatever you don't want to face…”. We are all guilty of covering up at some point; there is something that we don’t want to face and avoid it with distractions. Today’s message mentions alcohol and drugs, television, jokes, food, and work as many common cover ups, and reminds us that literally anything can be one. Kundtz encourages, “For those who would like to be awake, dis-covering our covering is not only essential but enormously rewarding: You get yourself back.” Let’s work to get ourselves back—I’m ready. Day one or one day.

Matthew 6:11 reads, ““Give us this day our daily bread.” Our Father has afforded us yet another day to begin again, and promises to provide exactly what we need.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Know that true free is found in following Christ who is the way, the truth, and the life.

We will never know His wonder and works until we trust to call on Him.
