Nothing is accomplished in this life without Christ
Practice
Kundtz speaks about practice this morning, but not in the context of rehearsing. His focus was associated with the Greek term praxis, meaning practical human conduct, especially ethical conduct. He then states, “I believe, practice is a combination of a specific spiritual tradition and one's own inclinations.” How do you live out life daily? Is it based upon how you feel, ebbing and flowing? Is it based upon your experiences, reacting and or responding in a karma manner? Or do you strive to life a life of love, compassion, and understanding?
Romans 12:5 reads, “So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.” Let us always remember that no matter who we engage with— friend, foe, the unknown—we are a representation of Christ and a direct correlation to one another. Even in difficult situations, respond in love, even if with tough love.
Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 3:12
“I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize.”
Progress not perfection shall be our focus as we continue on our Christ led journey where our rewards come through fulfillment of our purpose.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Luke 18:14
Then Jesus said, “When the two men went home, it was the tax collector and not the Pharisee who was pleasing to God. If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.”
Let us always be humble, knowing we all fall short, but allow humility to be evident in all that we do, for Christ is the “why” we have the ability.
Nothing is accomplished in this life without Christ, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
