This morning Kundtz quotes Black Elk, medicine man of the Oglala Sioux. The quote reads, “Anywhere is the center of the world”, and Kundtz explains this as meaning, “Anywhere. Especially right here, right now. Right where you are now is the center of the world. That's not because you are the most important person in the world, not because the world revolves around you, but because you are as important as any person in the world, and the world that you experience does revolve around you…. The challenge is to see the whole … world from where we are at the moment. Too often … we are by limited expectations, small hopes, and unimaginative desires.” We should never underestimate our importance in life for we were all created on purpose for a purpose. There is nothing we cannot do; we only don’t because of our limitations or lack of desire to do so. What are your goals for today, tomorrow, or this lifetime. Know the power and belief is in you to make it come true.

As one of my favorite scripture reads, “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” What He has planned for us is bigger than us.

Small Straws Scripture: Isaiah 50:10

Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God.

Whenever we are along life’s journey, distracted or feeling lost or overwhelmed, let us seek His guidance and direction to recover and continue on His plan until the end.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”

We can trust and depend on His will and way to grant us peace with no more sorrow, and only joy and hope for tomorrow and days to come.
