Prepare through prayer then planning to proceed
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
This morning’s devotional is titled “Hope” and explains, “Both hoping and wishing contain desire, but for wishing, that is where it ends. Hope goes deeper. The strong desire for something good to happen is coupled with a reason to believe that it will…. When we put our hope in Christ, he becomes our reason to believe good things will happen. He is our hope.“ Let us not just desire to REceive things in life, but let us BElieve in faith and hope for the future to watch God fulfill our prayers and petitions for He loves us and wants what’s BEst for us.
REflection from Declutter My Life: Prioritize Your Goals & Gain Mental Clarity by Nicole O. Salmon.
Today we BEgin “Declutter My Life: Prioritize Your Goals & Gain Mental Clarity” by Nicole O. Salmon. She BEgins by focusing on one of my favorite scriptures, Jeremiah 29:11. She then asks, “So why do we plan and then pray?… God has an ultimate plan we can trust. Before your next meeting or creating another to-do list, I invite you to pause and pray for His will and the way to be revealed.“ Let us always prepare by praying and then planning to proceed for our day. He will guide us, direct us, and give us the strength and wherewithal to do His will. Give everything to Him and work unto Him this day and each day ahead.
1 Corinthians 13:14
