Daily Devotional for September 22, 2020

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭

After REading today’s devotional by Joel Osteen it made me think of our Father as the ultimate mathematician. He adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in our lives. He has the perfect equation for every situation in our lives. May we continue to trust in Him and know that He is the perfect problem solver and can cancel out or exponentially increase whatever we need in our lives. Trust in His will and His way today and each day.

Deuteronomy 9

As we prepare for yet another day, may we REmember that the Lord always goes BEfore us as a devouring fire, defeating and subduing what may get in the way of the promises He has for us

‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭9:3‬). Let us forever REverence Him and not REbel against Him.

Richard Smallwood’s songs are REsonating with me this morning as I REad the devotionals. Tony Evans’s devotional today says, “Your harvest depends on what you sow.” The scripture says if you give it shall BE given unto you (Luke 6:38). Sometimes we sow tears though from hurt and pain, but as the lyrics from a Smallwood song REminds us, “If you sow in tears you'll reap in joy.” Whatever we plant and whatever we water (even through tears) and we nurture, it will produce an invested growth of REturn to our lives.

Mark 11:24

Petition your prayers and prepare with patience to prosper.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take time to talk to Thee this Tuesday, my friend.
