Stay secure in the Savior
“Joseph, remembering the dreams he had dreamed of them, said, ‘You’re spies. You’ve come to look for our weak spots.’”
Genesis 42:9 MSG
Joel Osteen highlights the story of Joseph and his brothers selling him into slavery. With a later encounter, Joseph could have gotten his REvenge, but as Osteen emphasizes, “He remembered the promise that God spoke to him…God was in control.”. This weekend as we work to REst and REset, let us not think about the dread of challenges we have experienced in the past, whether years ago or yesterday. Let us dedicate our thought to the dreams our Father has and will continue to fulfill, for everything will BE used for our good for greater is coming.
1 Samuel 4
As written in 1 Samuel 4:9, as we go about this life, “Show what you’re made of! Fight for your life!”
REflection from Promises For Your Everyday Life
We always need REminders in life to help us REfocus. This morning Meyer speaks to the topic, “Who Is Your Real Enemy?” She says, “There are many things in the world that threaten us. But our biggest enemy, fear, is not "out there." Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that we are at war not with flesh and blood, but with the enemy of our souls. We must not be confused about the identity of the enemy in our battles.” The enemy can BE the “inner-me”, whether we are preventing ourselves from taking steps in faith, or if we are listening to the enemy who comes against us instead of REmembering God’s promises for our lives. REmove the focus from the enemy and keep it intentionally on Thee.
Luke 12:40
Let us stay REady so we don’t have to get REady for His REturn. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Stay secure in the Savior, my friend.
