Daily Devotional for June 1, 2021
“Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits. Then we will… see what will become of his dreams.” Genesis 37:20 ESV
It is a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. It is also a new month. As we enter into this day and another season as well, may we REmain forward, focused and following in faith (and not fear) and favor for what God has for us and not for someone else. Osteen provides REassurance that, “God destined you to live a victorious life. If you’ll stay in faith...your time will come to be promoted, to be blessed, to be vindicated... He will get you to where you’re supposed to be.” Trust the process and His timing.
Acts 26
While we wait for God’s timing in our lives, as God said to Paul in Acts 26:16, He has a purpose for each of us, to make us ministers and witnesses both of things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which He will appear unto us” (Acts 26:16 KJV).
REflection from Battlefield of the Mind
Joyce Meyer warns us not to let the enemy set up a stronghold in our minds. Like John, some of us hate confrontation and don’t always stand up to others’ strong will, but it is said by Jesus in John 8:31-32, “If you . . . [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” The truth may make us uncomfortable and may even hurt, but there is purpose in pain. Trust in the Lord and His truth.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Sometimes we don’t REcognize our own strength, but God knows and will never put more on us than we can bear. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Trust through trials to triumphs this Tuesday, my friend.
