Daily Devotional for April 30, 2021

Therefore encourage and comfort one another and build up one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMP

Yesterday I had a discovery call with one of my sorority sisters who has inspired me even before I knew who she was on the campus of UNC. She has BEcome a successful business owner and most recently had a successful pitch on Shark Tank. As I had my consulting call with her, she continued to REiterate that I have a story that people want and need to hear. This morning, as usual I REflect on my life and the words of Joel Osteen who said, “When you’ve been through something, you’re uniquely qualified to help somebody else in that situation...Then there are times when God will allow us to go through a difficult time so later on we can be instrumental in helping others overcome”. It is my time share my credentials from Christ to help different populations from experience. Have you taken time to decide what God has uniquely qualified you to do?

Luke 18

We must truly learn to trust God with every aspect of our lives. Those things that we dream of that may seem unattainable in this moment, we must REmember, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God” (Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭NRSV‬‬). May we boldly confess what we desire of the Lord and BE REady to REceive in faith. As with the blind beggar in Luke 18:41-43, sometimes what doesn’t look right to man is a part of God’s plan to bless our lives.

REflection from 21 Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life

This morning the “21 Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life”, REminds us that sometimes we must BE slow to speak but REady to listen for a message from Christ from our circle maker friends. Sometimes our faith may waiver, for we are of flesh and cannot always see the forest for the trees. Yet that is why we must surround ourselves with BElievers who will speak life over us and REmind us to stay in faith when situations don’t make sense; for all things will work for our good according to His plan. “For eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Isaiah 53:5

He endured the pain so you and I might prosper. Let us never forget the gruesome sacrifice for the lives we live today. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Fix your focus on faith this Friday, my friend.
