Daily Devotional for July 29, 2021
“And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.” Isaiah 30:18 KJV
God is a god of more than enough. The message this morning from Osteen emphasizes that we should never walk around with a chip on our shoulder thinking about what we didn’t or haven’t received in this life. Osteen reminds us, “He’ll give you more in an area to make it up. Think on your life even in this very moment. What area stands out in your mind? I can immediately think of two areas: love and purpose. I REceive so much love from family, friends, and others, and my purpose as an educator is completely in the overflow at this time. We are REminded to think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and good…and REmember that the Lord is a God of justice, as highlighted in Isaiah 30:18.
Leviticus 6
BEcause of Christ we are forgiven, and forgiven in advance. And we are forgiven BEcause in this life we will fall short. When we do, and if it is against another, as in Leviticus 6, let us make full compensation, and more—an advancement, to the one we may have wronged.
REflection from Enough: Silencing Lies That Steal Your Confidence
Today’s message by Sharon Jaynes is titled “Replace the Lies with Truth”. Jaynes says, “The devil knows exactly who you are and what you have as a child of God. His goal is to cause you to doubt and question the truth… It is up to us to follow Jesus’ example: recognize the lie, reject the lies, and replace the lie with truth. Then the enemy has no other choice but to turn and walk away.“ Let use cancel out every lie and false message from the enemy with the promises found in the Word of God, for we are who God says we are.
Mark 11:24
We only have to pray to prosper and profit in this life.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Through it all, trust in Him this Thursday, my friend.
